Maintenance-Free Operation
Sealed design with Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid (VRLA) technology eliminates the need for water refilling or electrolyte checks.
Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) Technology
AGM separator holds electrolyte in place, enhancing durability and spill-proof performance.
Long Service Life
Advanced lead-calcium grids reduce corrosion and extend battery life (typically 3-5 years, depending on usage).
Fast & Efficient Recharging
Low internal resistance allows for rapid recharging (up to 5x faster than flooded batteries).

Deep Discharge Recovery
Can withstand multiple deep discharges (up to 80% DoD - Depth of Discharge) without significant capacity loss.
Vibration & Shock Resistance
Rugged construction with tightly packed plates and AGM technology prevents damage from vibrations, making them ideal for automotive, marine, and industrial use.
Wide Operating Temperature Range
Performs reliably in extreme temperatures (typically -20°C to +60°C). Thermal stability prevents overheating during high-current discharge
Safety & Environmental Benefits
Non-spillable, leak-proof design allows safe installation in any position (except inverted).

Features of Myoko's Battery
Gas Recombination Efficiency
AGM VRLA batteries recombine ~99% of oxygen and hydrogeninternally, minimizing water loss and eliminating the need for venting (unlike flooded batteries)
No Equalization Required
Unlike flooded lead-acid batteries, AGM VRLA batteries do not need regular equalization charges, as overcharging can damage them
Sensitive to Overcharging
Must be charged with a voltage-regulated charger(typically 8V–14.7V for 12V batteries). Exceeding 15V can cause excessive gassing and dry out the electrolyte.
Lower Sulfation Risk (If Maintained Properly)
Since AGM batteries are sealed and have low self-discharge, they are less prone to sulfation—but must be stored fully charged.
Float & Cyclic Applications
Excellent for float (standby) use(e.g., UPS, emergency lighting). Also good for cyclic (daily discharge) use (e.g., solar storage, trolling motors).
Weight & Energy Density
Lighter than flooded batteries but still heavier than lithium-ion. Energy density is higher than flooded lead-acid but lower than LiFePO4
No Off-Gassing (Under Normal Conditions)
Only releases gas if severely overcharged, making them safer for enclosed spaces
Limited Orientation Flexibility
While spill-proof, most AGM batteries should not be installed upside down(some manufacturers allow side mounting).
Cost vs. Performance
More expensive than flooded batteries but cheaper than lithium-ion. Justified by longer lifespan, safety, and maintenance-free operation.
